The roads and foundations of Tārgale wind park are ready, Augstsprieguma Tikls (TSO) substation is energized and installation of the wind turbines began on March 21. At the end of May, there will be installed a total of 14 wind turbines in the wind park.
After installation of all wind turbines, the next step is commissioning and testing of the turbines after which grid testing of the whole park is planned.
Construction of the wind park is going according to plan and from autumn the wind park should receive all the permits to begin the production of green energy. The estimated annual production of the wind park Tārgale will be 155 GWh, which is enough to satisfy the energy needs of more than 50 thousand households.
